Xavier Manteca

Xavier Manteca obtained his degree and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and also holds a Diploma from the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM). He took a Master with specialization in applied animal behaviour at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Xavier is currently a professor at the Animal and Food Sciences Department of the UAB’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where he teaches ethology and animal welfare.
